
Freelance Data & AI Governance Specialist

- Mission: 3 months (renewable for the duration of the project).
- Location: Rabat/Casablanca, Morocco.
- Start Date: ASAP.
- Language: Fluent English required (CVs must be submitted in English).
- Work Mode: Hybrid (mix of on-site and remote work).
- Define and implement AI governance frameworks, including data management, privacy, and security.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
- Advise on best practices for ethical AI, addressing fairness, bias, and transparency.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies across the organization.
- Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and legal teams to ensure compliance in AI implementations.
- Continuously monitor evolving AI regulations and ethical standards.
- Experience in developing AI governance frameworks for organizations.
- Data Governance: Strong knowledge of data management best practices, ensuring data quality, privacy, and security. Knowledge of data protection and security standards (e.g., encryption, access control).
- AI Ethics & Compliance: Deep understanding of ethical issues in AI, such as bias, transparency, accountability, and fairness.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Expertise in the legal and regulatory frameworks governing AI and data use (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate risks related to data misuse, model bias, and AI fairness.
- Policy Development: Skills in creating internal policies to govern AI projects and data usage, ensuring compliance with external regulations and with ethical standards.
- Training and Acculturation: Ability to train teams on data governance and AI best practices, ensuring broad compliance across the organization. Strong communication skills to educate teams and stakeholders on governance policies.
- Audit & Monitoring: Experience with auditing AI models and data systems for compliance and ethical standards.
