Manager: Finance Support - Clinvet MoroccoClinvet is widely widely recognized as one of the leading animal health Contract Research Organizations (CROs) globally. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manager: Finance Support to join our dynamic team at Clinvet Morocco.Primary Purpose of the RoleThe Finance Support Manager will ensure that financial support services are delivered effectively, professionally, and in compliance with company, group, and legislative requirements. The role includes overseeing financial operations, managing compliance and reporting processes, and providing leadership to the Finance Support team.Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage accounting and financial systems.
  • Support Executive Management in developing annual budgets aligned with operational plans.
  • Implement and maintain robust accounting control measures.
  • Validate transactions and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Manage audits (internal and external), ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor cash flow and oversee expenditure controls.
  • Prepare profit and loss statements, management accounts, and financial reports for review by management and customer boards.
  • Implement and enforce financial policies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
  • Compile and analyze financial data for reporting and business decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of taxation submissions.
  • Oversee payroll processing in line with local legislation and company policies.
  • Collaborate with HR and the Site Director on salary structures, variable pay systems, and employee compensation practices.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and legislation.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and line managers on finance-related matters.
Qualification and Experience
  • BCom in Accounting (or equivalent qualification), and
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a finance management role.
Key Skills and Attributes
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, Office 365).
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
