At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Machinist Team's responsibilities include, assignment planning, layout, set up, operating and making tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment. They work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions, communicating directly with engineers to understand the purpose of a part assembly. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Adhere to all safety requirements and wear required PPE at all times in production areasEnsure raw material availability and promptly communicate any shortages to the team leaderVerify that workstations are properly identified and in good conditionUpdate the Hydra system with production data as per the defined sequenceStart, restart, and shut down presses as neededRecord mold history informationComplete production report cardsPerform visual inspection of molded products using appropriate measuring equipmentMaintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas following the 5S+1 standardEnter setup parameters into injection molding presses based on mold requirementsPerform TPM walkarounds and complete the process control sheetContinuously monitor the process and check for leaks or process deviationsPackage finished products according to the packing process sheet, including weigh countingComplete all required documentation related to production, scrap, downtime, issues (Factory Order log), maintenance requests, and labor reportingTroubleshoot process-related issuesApply SMED during mold changeoversTrain new operators and ensure proper onboarding to operational standardsWhat your background should look like:Education:Bachelor's degree (BAC) or higher preferredProfessional Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience in production, preferably in injection molding or similar processesCompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, TeamworkLocation:TANGIER FREE ZONE, TNG, MA, 90000City: TANGIER FREE ZONEState: TNGCountry/Region: MATravel: NoneRequisition ID: 132051Alternative Locations:Function: Manufacturing
