Poste :The Cost Engineer will be responsible for:

Developing cost estimates in support of technical estimation and/or should-cost analysis based on technical features, specifications, and the Bill of Material
Proposing economic savings and optimizations during vehicle milestone reviews and cost target development
Acting as an active cross-functional team member with Engineering, the Vehicle Team, and Purchasing—providing data-driven cost deltas to support target achievement and quote gap closure
Assisting and supporting negotiations during component RFQs, change notes, and vehicle milestone activities
Utilizing the company's methodologies, cost databases, and calculators to develop and deliver detailed cost analyses
Supporting the company benchmarking efforts and contributing to Purchasing/Engineering commodity strategies

Profil recherché :You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering, and bring experience in a design, release, or processing role—or possess other relevant credentials combined with hands-on experience in developing variable and/or tooling costs for automotive components. You also demonstrate the following skills:

Strong automotive knowledge, particularly in production methods and development processes within the vehicle sector
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple programs and cost components simultaneously
Proven leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with fluency in English (both written and oral) as the official language of communication
Ability to collaborate effectively within a global team environment
