Conduct metallurgical testing and analysis to troubleshoot and improve flotation performance.
Implement process control strategies, leveraging digital tools to enhance flotation efficiency and stability.
Collaborate with plant operators and maintenance teams to ensure consistent operation of flotation equipment.
Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
Support the development and trial of new reagents and flotation technologies tailored to copper ore characteristics.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and contribute to sustainable water and waste management practices.
Provide technical guidance and training to flotation operators and junior metallurgists.
Prepare technical reports and contribute to budget planning for flotation-related operations.Requirements: Qualification and SkillBachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in metallurgical operations, with at least 4 years focused on flotation processes for copper.
In-depth knowledge of flotation chemistry, equipment, and process optimization for copper ores.
Experience with digital process control systems and data analysis tools for metallurgical applications.Benefits and Contractual information:Full-Time Position
