Poste :With a Master’s degree (BAC+5) from an engineering school or university specializing in embedded systems, you have a 1st experience in the automotive field. The role involves planning, designing, and executing test cases to validate Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems for automotive applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in testing methodologies, a keen eye for user experience, and the ability to mentor junior testers while ensuring high-quality deliverables.Within the project, your main tasks will include:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for HMI features across infotainment, instrument clusters, and driver assistance systems.
Validate system performance, usability, and compliance with requirements, standards, and customer specifications.
Conduct manual and automated testing of HMI functionalities (touchscreen, voice, physical controls, etc.).
Identify, analyze, and report software defects, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up with development teams.
Collaborate with developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to ensure alignment between requirements and test coverage.
Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Support integration testing with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), software-in-the-loop (SIL), or bench setups.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior test engineers.
Contribute to KPI definition and reporting to track test coverage and quality metrics.

Profil recherché :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in software/system testing, ideally within automotive HMI or infotainment systems.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Polarion).
Hands-on experience with HIL/SIL benches and automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting (Python, CAPL, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of UX principles and HMI ergonomics.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
