- Conduct controlled environment and field experiments to study plant responses to phosphorus and carbon limitations.
- Analyze biomass allocation and mobilization patterns in response to nutrient deficiencies.
- Quantify nutrient uptake, remobilization, and use efficiency using physiological, biochemical, and molecular tools.
- Collaborate with team members in data analysis, modeling, and interpretation of complex physiological datasets.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at scientific conferences.
- Contribute to supervision of graduate and undergraduate students, and participate in collaborative meetings.
- Ph.D. in Plant Physiology, Plant Biology, Agronomy, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in nutrient physiology, especially phosphorus and/or carbon metabolism.
- Strong background in plant nutrient transport, remobilization, or metabolic flux analysis.
- Familiarity with methods such as gas exchange analysis, root imaging, metabolomics.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
