Become a part of the “strength within.”Hexcel is currently seeking a Senior Accountant for our Casablanca, Morocco location.The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Conducting monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities (3rd working day), and thorough analysis of complex accounting issues and preparing the bridge between US and local GAAP
Tax filing: monthly and yearly declaration
Reviews monthly intercompany netting process and preparing monthly Balance sheet accounts analysis
Treasury control: to ensure site cash flow under control in accordance with forecast
Supervise the daily accounting tasks & check/monitor work of co-workers
Liaise closely with other departments to ensure consistency and alignment in accounting procedures
Take a pro-active role in challenging existing practices and looking for improvements in efficiency
Establish good accounting practice and maintain effective internal control procedures in accounting area
Establish a robust reporting process with the accounting firm
Support in setting up the AX system and Sage

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related function
Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance
Strong computer skills especially advanced in Microsoft Excel and experience with an enterprise accounting system (Sage and AX)
Deep knowledge of US and Moroccan GAAP
Great leadership skills
Language: French- Fluent, English- Fluent
