- Process Management: Lead the change management process from start to finish, including planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
- Risk Assessment: Review change requests to assess risks and potential impacts, ensuring that necessary precautions are taken before implementation.
- CAB Coordination: Organize and lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review and decide on change requests, ensuring they align with the organization's goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for all change management activities, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the process.
- Documentation and Compliance: Create and maintain documentation for change management procedures, ensuring they comply with ITIL standards and organizational policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Use data from change management activities to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on change management procedures and tools, fostering a culture that values structured and well-managed changes.
- Tool Management: Manage change management tools to ensure they are effectively supporting the process and meeting organizational needs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field. ITIL Foundation Certification is required; advanced ITIL certifications are preferred.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in IT change management within a complex organization.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices in service management. Experience with tools like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy is advantageous.
- Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
